Předloha
Plánované ukončení parního provozu na našich drahách si vyžádalo nové konstrukce lokomotiv nejen pro traťovou službu, ale také pro posun a stejně tak pro průmysl. Byla snaha o to, vyvinout hospodárnou, a proto malou lokomotivu, za použití už existujícího motoru. Tím se stal automobilový motor Tatra 111 A, osvědčený z nákladních aut stejného označení.
Lokomotiva byla vyráběna ve variantě s mechanickým a hydrodynamickým přenosem výkonu. Dodnes slouží na výkonech u soukromých subjektů, nebo u TSS či EŽ.
Model
Právě první varianta se také stala předlohou pro náš model. Stavebnička, vyleptaná do 0,3 mm plechu, obsahuje díly ke stavbě skříně a bočnic rámu - spodku lokomotivy. Jeden ze způsobů motorizace je uveden zde.
Stavebnice neobsahuje pojezd ani obtisky.
