Etch kits can be soldered or glued with instant glue (recommended only for non-operational vehicles or details).

This kit is also suitable for beginners due to its simplicity (no need to bend sheet metal into round edges etc.).

The running gear, wheels and decals are not included in the kit and can be purchased separately - see accessories.

MUV 69 is a type designation for a rail motor universal carriage, widely and in various modifications used on Czech and Slovak railways as a motor drayage or working machine.

The basic version with a platform for cargo transport can be retrofitted with a hydraulic arm or crane, folding body, welding unit, electric generator, platform for overhead line repairs, snow cutter, machines for maintenance of line greenery, etc... The manufacturer was the Brno-Horní Heršipce plant, a unit of ČSD Mechanization of line management in Prague. In May 1992 the unit was transformed into an independent enterprise MTH Praha a. s.

Around 1000 trolleys of this type were produced.

According to the MTH Praha manufacturer's website, between 1968 and 1991, 741 MUV 69s were delivered to the Czech Republic, 234 to Slovakia and 6 MUV 69/750s to Germany.
